Brian Stanyer Memorial Trophy details set
AUCKLAND, New Zealand - The Annual Brian ‘Stan’ Stanyer Memorial Trophy is set for Saturday between Mount Albert Ponsonby and Central United FC.
Brian Stanyer passed away in October 2016 and had been involved with Mount Albert-Ponsonby since 1977, spending time there as a player before holding every available position on the club's committee over 40 years.

Stanyer also spent a brief time with Central United.
The match will go ahead only on the proviso Auckland moves from Alert Level 2 down to 1 by the weekend.
The New Zealand Government is set to announce details of Auckland's Alert Level status at a press conference on Thursday.
