Auckland City FC dispatches media releases on a regular basis. If you wish to be part of this list you may apply here.
Match Day Media Operations
The media tribune at Kiwitea Street is small so therefore space is allocated on a first come first serve basis. Access to the media tribune will open when general admission gates open for each day of competition.
Media without a workstation are welcome to sit in open seating in the designated areas of the clubrooms or stadium. Open seating is based on a first come, first serve basis.
Free WiFi will be provided and log-in information will be available from the Auckland City FC media manager.
Photo bibs will be available for pick up and return depending on the demand and whether the match is scheduled for broadcast.
If any media is found with alcoholic beverages or not working as designated in their assignment letter, the result will be an immediate revoking of their credential and dismissal from all press areas.
Interviews will be available with players and coaches immediately following matches. If you wish to conduct an interview, it is recommended that you inform the Auckland City FC media manager of any specific interview requests for assistance in coordinating interviews following matches.
Media must be at the designated “mix zone” prior to the end of that team’s match. Team managers will provide available players, and the duration of interviews is at each player’s and/or coach’s allowance.
Priority requests are given to the host broadcaster post-match.
Outside Match Day
Interview requests outside of Match Day must be made via the Auckland City FC media manager here who will either deny or grant the interview and/or facilitate as required.
Photography Procedures & Restrictions
Photographers must have a valid competition credential and photo bib to shoot from the designated photography areas on the field. Credentials must be worn outside of the vests.
No photography is allowed in the dressing rooms.
Absolutely no filming of competition play is allowed during competition unless agreed by the competition host broadcaster and/or New Zealand Football and/or the Oceania Football Confederation.
Failure to adhere to the filming regulations will result in an immediate revoking of your credential and dismissal from the venue.
