Auckland City have beaten Canterbury United 3-1 at Kiwitea Street on Sunday evening.

We're back at Kiwitea Street for the first time this season to begin a crucial run of three straight home fixtures in the ISPS Handa Premiership. Today, Canterbury United - who beat the Navy Blues in pre-season - arrive on the back of a defeat to South Island rivals Tasman United that is sure to leave them smarting.

TEAM NEWS
Fabrizio Tavano could be in line for a recall after suffering an injury in pre-season but Kris Bright and Mario Bilen remain out of action with the latter still several weeks away from availability.  Owen Parker-Price is also on the injury list after breaking a metatarsal md-week.
