Kilkolly brace seals friendly win
AUCKLAND, New Zealand - Angus Kilkolly scored a late double for Auckland City FC at Te Atatu to give the Navy Blues a come-from-behind 3-2 win over local rivals Eastern Suburbs at the Croatian Cultural Society today.
The visitors have yet to register a win over City since the two clubs first faced each other in December 2016, but that looked odds on to change after a big start by the Kane Wintersgill-coached side.
The Lilywhites raced into a 2-0 lead after Luis Toomey pounced after 8 minutes before Ryan Feutz extended the visitors advantage near the half hour mark.
The visitors were good for their lead at the break but the second half proved to be a different affair with youngster Stipe Ukich halving the deficit ten minutes after the restart.
That allowed Kilkolly to take centre stage in the final part of the match scoring an impressive brace that secured a second friendly win this week.

City defeated fellow Northern League side West Coast Rangers 3-1 at the same venue midweek after an own goal by Adam Mitchell was cancelled out by a goal each from Regont Murati, Joe Lee and Ukich.
The squad will continue pre-season with Manurewa AFC visiting the Croatian Cultural Society next Saturday for the team's final friendly before facing New Zealand champions Wellington Olympic in the OFC Champions League Playoff at Kiwitea Street on March 9 and 16.
