Condolences to family and friends of Paul Caunter
AUCKLAND, New Zealand - Everyone at Kiwitea Street is saddened by the news of the sudden passing of Paul Caunter.
Paul provided bag tags for the club during its FIFA Club World Cup campaigns of 2013 and 2014 in Morocco.
Paul's son Louie was part of those two Auckland City FC squads and made six appearances for the first team including friendly games against Spanish side Espanyol and Fiji's Ba.
Ivan Vuksich, Auckland City FC chairperson said: "Everyone at Kiwitea Street extends their heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the family of Paul Caunter following his sudden passing.
"Paul made a deep impression on everyone he met and to lose him is a big tragedy especially for his family and friends.
"Our thoughts and prayers are of course with Paul's family, especially Louie, at this difficult time."
