AUCKLAND, New Zealand - Auckland City FC U-14 Championship team seeks a coach to join the club's Academy for the remainder of the 2021 winter season.

The Auckland City FC Academy is a holistic football program that prepares players for the demands of the modern game at whatever level they aspire to.

We are currently seeking a coach to join our Academy for the remainder of the 2021 winter season to work with our U14 Championship Team. The commitment is for two
training sessions and one game per week.

Guided by our experienced technical team, coaches will be exposed to the club playing and coaching philosophies as they work with other like-minded coaches in a positive environment to inspire players to learn, develop and express themselves on the field.

This role would be ideally suited for someone working towards their OFC/NZF C Licence, or equivalent. Coach development support will be available.

Required Skills:

Coaches will demonstrate and excel in the following fields:

• Delivery, execution and planning of high-quality sessions.
• Leadership – leading positively by example (role model to players).
• Communication – effectively communicate to all parties associated to the program.
• Building effective working relationships – work successfully with others and show
an ability to build and continue effective relationships with others
• Management – be seen as an effective leader of players and people.

Candidates must be based in Auckland, New Zealand.
