AUCKLAND, New Zealand - All Whites train at Kiwitea Street as the countdown to Saturday's FIFA World Cup qualifier with New Caledonia continues.

Two Navy Blues players are involved with Clayton Lewis and Te Atawhai Hudson-Wihongi getting considerable pitch time between them under coach Anthony Hudson.

The squad has other links to the Navy Blues with former Auckland City FC goalkeeper Paul Gothard back on familiar ground alongside FIFA Club World Cup Morocco 2014 hero, Tamati Williams.

Michael Boxall, who made his Stirling Sports Premiership debut for the Navy Blues nearly eight years ago, is also in the squad. The 28-year-old is set to win his 20th international cap and now plays his football in South Africa with Supersport United.

Club chairman Ivan Vuksich said the Navy Blues were honoured to have the national team train at Kiwitea Street following on from Melbourne Victory's use of the pitch late last year.

"We switched our own training session around to accommodate the All Whites and were only too happy to do so.

"Our club has provided many players for the All Whites over the years, players like Ivan Vicelich, Paul Urlovic,  James Pritchett, Jonathon Perry, Riki van Steeden, Adam McGeorge, Ross Nicholson, Jacob Spoonley, Chad Coombes, Tim Payne, Tamati and, most recently, Clayton and Te Atawhai.

"New Zealand Football presented our club with a signed All Whites shirt and Auckland City FC will be issuing a special ticket to all paying patrons and all Navy Blues Season Ticket Holders who attend our Stirling Sports Premiership match against Hawke's Bay United on 26th November.

"A draw will take place upstairs in the clubrooms at half-time during the match and the signed All Whites replica shirt will then be presented to the lucky winner.

"It's wholly appropriate that on behalf of Auckland City FC, I express our gratitude the All Whites were able to train, not once, but twice at our home, we wish them the best for the game on Saturday and the next fixture in Kone, New Caledonia, on November 15," he said.
