AUCKLAND, New Zealand - The Futsal Navy Blues coach Nic Downes has named a strong squad to take on the Men's Futsal SuperLeague National Series on November 20-22 at Bruce Pulman Arena.
The Futsal Navy Blues come into the National Series after finising second in the Northern Series after picking up two wins over NFF Comets and Bay of Plenty Surge and a defeat to favourites Waikato Rapids.
Downes will be without Dylan Manickum who is required for the men's first team clash with Hamilton Wanderers at Porritt Stadium on Sunday in the ISPS Handa Men's Premiership.

Yousif Al-Kalisy, another player with dual responsibilities, is named in the Futsal Navy Blues squad for the weekend but may be required elsewhere should injuries dictate.
"We're looking forward to it especially we saw so many good things last Series and so there are things to improve on now we know what are doing and hopefully we can push on and win," he said.

The Waikato Rapids downed the Futsal Navy Blues 6-2 in their last match but Al-Kalisy believes that defeat has made his team stronger as they focus on improvement.
"Obviously, no one enjoys losing but there are definitely some positives to take out from it.
"I think it really helps us as we know what we need to work on especially if we play them again.
"If we want to win the competition we probably do have to play them again and hopefully we know what we need to do.
"We can fix those small things that we need to improve and focus on ourselves," he said.
Results gleaned from the Northern Series and the Southern Series are carried into the National Series.
The top four teams at the end of Match Day 2 qualify for the playoffs.
The winner of the overall competition is determined by who wins the final on Match Day 3 scheduled for 3.00pm.
The tournament kicks off at 10.00am on Friday 20 November at Bruce Pulman Arena when Capital Futsal take on Auckland City FC.
