Brian Stanyer to be remembered
AUCKLAND, New Zealand - Central United and Mount Albert Ponsonby meet in pre-season action when the Brian Stanyer Memorial Trophy goes on the line at Kiwitea Street on Saturday.
Brian Stanyer passed away in October 2016 and had been involved with Mount Albert-Ponsonby since 1977, spending time there as a player before holding every available position on the club's committee over 40 years.
Stanyer also spent a brief time with Central United.
The match is set to get underway at 2pm NZST on Saturday 14 March 2020.
