The host nation came into the match off the back of a 1-0 loss to Vanuatu and they were back in that position after Scott Wara turned in a Logan Rogerson shot after just 13 minutes of this semi-final.
Two goals in 10 minutes from Ben Waine and Rogerson made it 3-0 before the result was put beyond doubt when Myer Bevan slotted home from close range just before halftime to make it four.
