AUCKLAND, New Zealand – Auckland City FC is deeply saddened to hear of the news of the passing of Angus Kilkolly’s father, Tim Kilkolly.
Tim Kilkolly travelled to the OFC Champions League in Vanuatu last year to follow Angus and Auckland City FC in their pursuit of defending the Oceania club title in Luganville and Port Vila.
Tim, a regular visitor to Kiwitea Street, was always positive and passionate about Angus football and very proud of his son who scored a crucial goal in the 4-2 extra-time final victory of Suva FC at Port Vila.
A believer in never giving up no matter what the challenge, Tim’s unfailing belief in Angus and the team was rewarded during the epic penalty kick victory over Ifira Black Bird in the semi-finals.
Everyone at Kiwitea Street connected with Auckland City FC and Central United FC sends their love to Angus and the Kilkolly family at this difficult time.
A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Heretaunga Street East, Hastings on Tuesday 30 April 2024 11 am.
Tim will be laid to rest at Waipawa cemetery with Sean.
Flowers and messages of condolence can be sent to 1000 Plunket Street, Hastings C/- Kilkolly Family.
