AUCKLAND, New Zealand — Auckland City FC proudly congratulates three of our finest futsal talents, Oban Hawkins, Dylan Manickum, and Stephen Ashby-Peckham, on their selection to the 16-man Futsal Whites squad for the upcoming Continental Futsal Championship in Thailand.

This prestigious tournament, held in Nonthaburi from 29 July to 3 August 2025, marks the Futsal Whites’ return to international action following their historic debut at last year’s FIFA Futsal World Cup in Uzbekistan.
Head Coach Marvin Eakins sees this event as the beginning of a new competitive cycle, offering a critical opportunity for emerging talent to showcase their abilities on the global stage.
We at Auckland City FC areal proud to see Oban, Dylan, and Stephen don the silver fern and represent Aotearoa New Zealand, while flying the ACFC flag high on the international stage.
The Futsal Whites will compete in Group A, facing off against Chinese Taipei (FIFA rank 82) on Thursday 31 July at 1am NZT before taking on Thailand (FIFA rank 11) on Friday 1 August at 1am NZT
Group B includes top-tier sides like Belarus, Saudi Arabia, Australia, and Zambia. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals, while third-placed teams battle for 5th and 6th place.
All matches will be held at the Nonthaburi Gymnasium Stadium and streamed live via the Thailand FA YouTube channel, giving fans the perfect chance to support our ACFC stars from home.
