AUCKLAND, New Zealand - Auckland City FC will face Hawkes Bay Futsal in a double- header on Saturday, February 10 at Barfoot & Thompson Stadium in Kohimarama to kick off their 2024 Ford SuperLeague season.
New Zealand’s premier domestic Futsal competition will see the country’s top teams compete across the country in the Home Series, Travel Series, and National Series for the title of Futsal SuperLeague Champions.
The men’s competition will features eight teams: Auckland City FC (delivered in partnership with Northern Region Football), Bay of Plenty Surge, 2023 champions Canterbury United Dragons, Capital Futsal, Hawkes Bay Futsal (delivered in partnership with Central Football), Palmerston North Marist (delivered in partnership with Central Football), Southern United and Waikato Rapids.
The Futsal Navy Blues will kick off their Home Series campaign with back-to-back matches against their closest regional HB Futsal rivals on Saturday, February 10 February in the Auckland suburb of Kohimarama.
The Northern Travel Series will see Auckland City FC face the Waikato Rapids and Bay of Plenty Surge on Saturday, February 24 and Sunday, February 25.
The National Series, featuring all teams, will be played over the weekends of March 16/17 and March 23/24 at Ākau Tangi Sports Centre in Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington followed by the Pulman Arena in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland.
The winners of competitions will be decided on Sunday, March 25 at the Finals Series at the Pulman Arena.
The competition will be broadcast on FIFA+ for the first time and will be available globally to stream live for free.
