Navy Blues' final group match cancelled
LUGANVILLE, Vanuatu - The Oceania Football Confederation has issued a statement advising that today's match between Auckland City FC and Lupe Ole Soaga SC will not take place due to player injuries in the Lupe Ole Soaga SC squad.
The match was scheduled to kick-off at 12pm (Vanuatu time) at Luganville’s Soccer City stadium.
Three points and a 3-0 victory have been awarded to Auckland City FC who finish on top of Group A with maximum points.
The Navy Blues will now begin their preparations for their semi-final in Port Vila on Wednesday 24th May 2023.
OFC will refer the matter to the appropriate bodies.
