Our Academy vision is for players to excel on and off the field. We provide a development and performance program to prepare players for the demands of the modern game.
Established in 2019, our academy offers aspiring players a pathway in both football and futsal. Our programs expose players to age-specific training methods that are ultimately aimed to enhance technical competence, tactical understanding, decision-making and creativity. Attention is also given to how individuals conduct themselves at training and matches.
Auckland City FC holds the New Zealand Football ‘Skills Centre’ and ‘Talent Development Program’ accreditations and boasts one of the most experienced staff across football and futsal.

ACADEMY PATHWAY
ASPIRE PROGRAMS
These programs are invite-only for junior and youth players aged 10 to 17 who are motivated to consistently train and play at a higher level.
PLAY PROGRAMS
These programs are for junior players aged 6 to 13 and aimed at those seeking additional training opportunities outside of their regular team training. The training is open for anyone to join and is offered all year round.
