Auckland City Football Club is based in Auckland, New Zealand’s largest city. The club competes in the 12-team Northern League which is part of New Zealand Football’s new National League System.
This new competition replaces the ISPS Handa Premiership (New Zealand Football Championship).
Auckland City won the now defunct competition in eight of the 17 years since its inception.
Auckland City FC has won the OFC Champions League 13 times since their first crown in 2006 and remain Oceania’s premier football club.
Auckland City FC is an amateur club with our players having full-time occupations outside of football or studying in some form.
Teams and Membership The club has a membership of approximately 400 and fields 12 teams, including a senior men’s team and youth teams ranging from under-13 to under-23. Auckland City FC also supports men’s and women’s futsal teams in collaboration with Northern Regional Football (NRF).
