Simon Richards departs Navy Blues
AUCKLAND, New Zealand - Auckland City FC announces the departure of valued coach Simon Richards.
Richards signed off with a positive message to wish the club all the best as he plots his next project.
"I was tasked to establish a Player Development Program which was an opportunity given to me by ACFC and it is now established and in good hands.
I am moving on to a fresh challenge, I will be following the progress of players and coaches closely, I still have ties with the club and I wish everyone the best."
Auckland City FC is expected to announce a new academy director in the near future.
