AUCKLAND, New Zealand - Ivan Vicelich heaps praise on Enaut Zubikarai after the Navy Blues stopper won the OFC Champions League Golden Gloves Award for the second year in a row.

The former La Liga goalkeeper was the Navy Blues outstanding performer during an ISPS Handa Premiership winning season and Vicelich says its the least he deserves.

"Enaut is a very good goalkeeper and we're blessed to have someone of his quality in New Zealand.

"As a player he sets very high standards and he lets people know that - and he lets the backroom and coaching staff know that, too.

"Enaut's sense of excellence has rubbed off on everyone at the club but especially the young goalkeepers he's worked with like Conor Tracey and Cameron Brown.

"If you ask any of the goalies Enaut's worked with at Auckland City FC they're effusive in their praise for what he brings to the club.

"They describe Enaut as incredible. Enaut had a brilliant run in the ISPS Handa Premiership and OFC Champions League and pulled off some great saves.

"When you have a keeper of that calibre who can save your team points during a season it gets you victories.

"This award shows how much of a quality goalkeeper he is."
