HAT-TRICK HEROES

There have only been three hat-tricks scored in the ISPS Handa Premiership playoffs since 2004-05 with former Navy Blues attacker and current Papua New Guinea international David Browne netting a treble in the 5-1 thrashing of Waitakere United on 29 March 2015.

The two other hat-tricks were scored by two former Waitakere United players - Roy Krishna netted a treble in Waitakere United's extraordinary 6-4 semi-final second leg win over Hawke's Bay United on 9 March 2013. The other was scored by Pascal Reinhardt in Waitakere United's 6-6 draw with Team Wellington in their one-off semi-final on 26 March 2017. Team Wellington won the match 3-2 on penalties.
