AUCKLAND, New Zealand - Auckland City FC have picked up another win this time in a 5-1 friendly win over Vanuatu U-20 at McLeod Road in West Auckland last night.

With the Stirling Sports Premiership grand final against defending champions Team Wellington looming at QBE Stadium on Sunday, this latest match was aimed at providing squad players some much needed game time.

Just around the corner from New Zealand's show piece domestic final are the Navy Blues home and away clashes with Tahitian outfit AS Tefana in the OFC Champions League.

Joao Moreira, Abdullah Al-Kalisy (2), Harry Edge and Micah Lea'alafa were all on target for the Navy Blues.

The match was the club's 35th of the season stretching back to the opening game of pre-season with Melbourne City's youth and reserves in September.
