AUCKLAND, New Zealand - Navy Blues and All Whites star Clayton Lewis says Auckland City FC's fourth consecutive minor premiership title smash-and-grab is one for fans to savour after a 2-1 derby win over Eastern Suburbs AFC at Kiwitea Street on Sunday.
The Navy Blues grabbed top spot in the Stirling Sports Premiership regular season for a record four-in-a-row and the club's eighth since 2004-05 thanks to a last gasp goal from Emiliano Tade only minutes after Moses Dyer had levelled the game moments prior.
Joao Moreira had steered Auckland City FC on the path to victory with a superb penalty on 67 minutes but it was a nervy finish for Navy Blues fans as the match entered its final stages.
In this audio interview Lewis describes what it means to him and his Auckland City FC team-mates to qualify for the OFC Champions League next season after last week's tumultuous and controversial Super City derby defeat to Waitakere United.
