AUCKLAND, New Zealand - Auckland City FC to take nothing for granted as the Navy Blues eye-up a crucial Stirling Sports Premiership catch-up encounter with Southern United at Kiwitea Street on Wednesday.

Assistant coach Ivan Vicelich was delighted with the Navy Blues demolition of Hamilton Wanderers on Sunday as Auckland City FC blasted the Mark Cossey-coached outfit 4-1 in front of Sky Sports cameras.

Vicelich, who is no stranger to tense minor premiership run-ins, was pleased with the victory and, in particular, the flurry of goals that came with it after several false starts this season in matches with Tasman United, Waitakere United and Canterbury United.
