AUCKLAND, New Zealand - Auckland City FC coach Ramon Tribulietx was a happy man as the Navy Blues defeated Wellington Phoenix U-20 by 2-0 at Kiwitea Street today.
Goals from Fabrizio Tavano and Clayton Lewis were enough to see the Oceania champions home in their first home game since last November.
The Navy Blues now face a busy fixture list as they attempt to win the minor premiership with matches against Hamilton Wanderers twice, Southern United, Waitakere United and Eastern Suburbs AFC on the horizon.
