AUCKLAND, New Zealand – Reigning Oceania champions Auckland City FC were drawn into Group A alongside representatives from Tahiti, New Caledonia, and Fiji at the official draw for the OFC Men’s Champions League 2025, held at the OFC Home of Football – Te Kahu o Kiwa in Auckland, New Zealand.

Auckland City FC secured their place in the region’s premier club competition by winning the New Zealand National League title with an extra-time 2-1 victory over Birkenhead United at North Harbour Stadium on December 1.

The OFC Men’s Champions League 2025 will take place in the Solomon Islands from March 30 to April 12.

Chairman Ivan Vuksich expressed the club’s excitement about the upcoming competitions.

“We are thrilled about next season. It’s going to be a busy but fantastic 2025 for Auckland City FC. At the FIFA Club World Cup in the United States, we will play against three brilliant clubs: Bayern Munich, Benfica, and Boca Juniors.

But we are equally excited about defending our Oceania crown in the Solomon Islands. It will be a very busy year for us, and our preparations are well advanced on both fronts. We have already booked our accommodation in Honiara and working hard on all  other logistical requirements,” explained Vuksich.

The full match schedule and participating teams will be confirmed at a later date.
