Live stream of Chatham Cup last eight clash confirmed

AUCKLAND, New Zealand - Auckland City FC is pleased to announce it will live stream the Chatham Cup quarter-final clash with Dunedin City Royals on Saturday 30 July 2022.

Club President Ivan Vuksich explained why the club took up the project to stream the game live.

"The Chatham Cup is a special competition and with so many of our supporters unable to travel because of limited flights we've decided to stream the game.

"Our clubrooms will be open on Saturday for the game and I'm sure we'll get a very good turn out to follow Albert Riera and the team.

"But we couldn't have done it without the backing of sponsors, community partners and club members," he said.

Ockham and Vuksich & Borich

Ockham, who came on board as the club's front of jersey sponsor this season, and Vuksich & Borich, a long standing supporter of the club, have backed the broadcast.

"We've been able to schedule a live stream of this game thanks to the help of our main sponsors Ockham and also Vuksich & Borich.

"Ockham in particular has been very supportive of the club both in our activities on and off the pitch this season.|

ACFC In the Community Project

"Ockham are a business we share a lot of values with and so we've focused a lot of our energies off the pitch this season on community projects.

"We've had a lot of success working alongside Sport Auckland with our ACFC In the Community programme which drives the message of inclusivity and cultural diversity in sport.

"I think this blend is something that holds appeal for our sponsors and community partners.

"We're hoping to do more to bring our games to YouTube in the future," he said.

The match is set for a 1.00pm NZDT kick-off.
