City get Bay Olympic in Chatham Cup
AUCKLAND, New Zealand - Auckland City FC will face Bay Olympic in the Chatham Cup 4th Round following today's draw made by New Zealand Football.
The Navy Blues have met three times previously with City emerging victorious on all three occasions.
The clubs first met on 7 June 2021 with City defeating Bay Olympic, 2-1. Goals by Aidan Carey and Angus Kilkolly cancelled an opener by Honggyu Han after just 30 seconds.
The second clash happened just five days later and was less flattering for Olympic with Paul Marshall's team beaten 7-0, through two goals by Dylan Manickum and a goal each for Kilkolly, Sam Brotherton, Matt Ellis, Alfie Rogers and Addison Stewart.
The only meeting between the clubs this season happened on 23 April 2022 when a hat-trick by Kilkolly and one by Ryan De Vries gave Albert Riera's men a comfortable 4-0 win.
