Academy sets October programme
AUCKLAND, New Zealand - Auckland City FC Academy has tenatatively set a series of programmes for the end of October pending changes in Auckland's lockdown/alert status.
Academy Director Nic Downes acknowledged the unpredictability of the current public health situation but said it was important to let people know planning was still being undertaken.
"We’ve got a number of programs starting up end of the month but of course, everything is dependant on moving down alert levels.
"There is a sense that we are in a period of uncertainty and we may have to delay the start of this programme but we still want people to know we’ve got things planned," he said.
ACADEMY PROGRAMMES
Starting 19 October:
Futsal skills (U-9 to U-12)
Futsal teams (U-14 & U-16)
Starting 27 October:
Grassroots (U-7 to U-8)
Skills Centre (U-9 to U-12)
Goalkeeping (U-9 to U-12)
Youth (U-13 to U-16)
