Navy Blues to face Lilywhites in semi final
AUCKLAND, New Zealand - Auckland City FC will face Eastern Suburbs AFC in the ISPS Handa Premiership semi finals on Sunday at Kiwitea Street.
Eastern Suburbs AFC registered a come-from-behind 2-1 victory over Hawke's Bay United at Bluewater Stadium in Napier on Wednesday to leapfrog Waitakere United into the playoffs.
The victory spells the end for two franchise clubs with both United's ending their run in New Zealand's domestic top flight.
Sunday's match is subject to the New Zealand Government's Alert Level change due to be announced at a press conference on Thursday.
The other semi final between Team Wellington and Hamilton Wanderers kicks off at 2.05pm NZDT on Saturday 13 March 2021 at David Farrington Park in the capital.
The final is scheduled for Sunday 21 March, 2021.
