AUCKLAND, New Zealand - Auckland City FC's Family Day welcomed hundreds of school children, parents and staff to its Kiwitea Street ground for the Stirling Sports Premiership clash with Canterbury United and a fun day was had by all. Check out the best of our social media from the day right here.

Pupils from Edendale Primary School, Wesley Intermediate, Wesley Primary, Dominion Road Primary and Good Shepherd Primary School, along with the Mount Gravatt Hawks U-12 team from Brisbane, Australia, came to the ground to meet the Navy Blues players, including All Whites Clayton Lewis and Te Atawhai Hudson-Wihongi, get autographs, photos and an opportunity to meet their local community heroes.

Club chairman Ivan Vuksich was delighted with the turn out from local schools and the buzz brought to Kiwitea Street.

"Its important that we embrace our local community and Edendale, Good Shepherd's, Wesley Intermediate and Primary, Dominion Road Primary and our Australian guests from Mount Gravatt Hawks provided a lot of colour and excitement on the day.

"We hope to build on this and keep in close contact with the schools in some way, shape or form over the course of the rest of this season," he said.

Over the next week, will continue to bring you the best of the social media images and videos of the day.
