Matsumoto returns to Navy Blues
AUCKLAND, New Zealand - Auckland City FC have confirmed the signing of Japanese defender Kohei Matsumoto.
Osaka-born Matsumoto, 31, joins the Navy Blues for the second time after first signing for the club in August 2014 where he helped Auckland City FC win the OFC President's Cup at Trusts Arena.
He then headed out to join Hawke's Bay United, Waitakere United and Hamilton Wanderers.
Matsumoto was part of the Heinghene Sport squad that played at the FIFA Club World Cup in Qatar last year.
